Description

For over 45 years, Dubuque Clamp Works has been manufacturing specialized clamps of all kinds in their Dubuque, Iowa factory. Renowned for their uncompromising quality, they have been an industry leader for decades. The clamps they produce are the best on the market, built to last for generations.

Wood hand screw clamps are among the most versatile tools you can have in your workshop. Patented by Hans Jorgensen in 1901, wooden hand screws have remained unchanged for over a century, and for good reason. They are as useful today in DIY, carpentry, and cabinet making as they were when first invented. The dual-angle adjustable wood jaws can be set up to 15 degrees out of parallel to secure odd-shaped parts, or they can be set parallel to distribute pressure evenly over a wider area. These clamps perform equally well in heavy clamping operations and delicate clamping of small parts, without marring the workpieces. The jaws can be set to overlap or angled to concentrate pressure at the tips exactly where needed. The rapid-type threads turn easily, allowing for quick adjustment of the jaws. Both jaws are balanced to enable two-handed “swinging,” allowing you to quickly open or close the jaws to the desired opening.

Features:

Jaws - Straight grain, oiled kiln dried hard sugar maple

Spindles and nuts - Cold-drawn carbon steel nuts and rapid-action threads are zinc plated to resist corrosion. The rapid- type threads turn easily and allow quick adjustment of the jaws.

Handles – Ergonomically designed for optimal comfort, control and high torque. Made from hard maple with heavy-duty steel ferrules that are pinned to the threaded rods.
