Here at Bull Ring you can depend on a lifetime of service. That is our promise. Serviced here in the USA. We're ready to answer your questions or concerns. Bull Ring Model# 1001 - fits the oval holes on the sidewalls and front wall of 2007-2020 Chevy Silverado | 2007-2020 GMC Sierra | 2015-2021 Chevy Colorado | 2015-2021 GMC Canyon. Sidewall mount Bull Rings mount just below the truck rail and allow the user up to 9 tie down points in the truck bed.Rated at 1,000 lbs., the Bull Ring bullet lifts up and out at a 35° angle to match the angle used when securing loads with ratchets or rope.Installation couldn’t be easier. Specifically designed for your truck bed and require no drilling, no special tools and no hassle. The stainless steel ring easily glides up to secure your load and stores flush when not in use for smooth and easy use. Each anchor is built to last and rated for 1,000lbs. Constructed with a stainless steel ring, a 1" block of glass filled nylon and secured with a stainless steel backing plate. Designed at a 35° angle for a more secure load to match the direction of pull for most cargo anchoring. Installation Remove "screw"Insert base into stake pocket with ring angled upwardPlace bottom of stainless steel backing plate into holeInsert "screw" and pull outward on ring while turning screwJust before snug, center the anchor in holeOnce the "screw" is tight, give the screw one last 1/4 turnDo not over tighten - avoid power tools and ensure "screw" is only hand right Frequently Asked Questions Where are the Bull Rings for the top rail? Why can't I find any? At this time, we do not offer anchors for the top rail. The rear stake pockets are trapezoid shaped, and that is because they are designed to be a hand-grip and there is a corresponding step in the rear bumper for climbing onto the truck bed. We don’t want to cover a handgrip. In any case, the walls are flush (like an elevator shaft) and won’t accept a Bull Ring. The front stake pockets are also covered by a plastic rail cap, we don’t recommend cutting them open. There is no repair for a cut rail cap and the stake pocket holes underneath also have flush walls which don’t accept a standard Bull Ring installation. Though we don't offer top rail anchors, our model# 1001 gives you more places to secure a load than any other truck. You have 9 choices and they are all up by the rail - so you can tie or strap easily and you don't have to get your shirt dirty- or climb in to use them.

I've owned a '17 Colorado for 2.5 years now and about 50% of the time I load something, I'm wanting more tie-down location options than the 4 factory loops (ever forget to attach your straps to at least one BEFORE you loaded the bed full and then try to reach down to them?), but didn't want to have to mount fixed rings that protruded into the bed. I can't believe I didn't think to look for retractable anchors earlier, these would have saved me a lot of hassle. The anchors were easy to install and seem well built. They fit fine in my bed with a factory drop-in liner. The only issue I noticed is that the liner at the head of the bed has a small bump around the three cut outs which requires hooks to be placed from underneath on those rings, but that has nothing to do with the design of these anchors. If your straps have thinner hooks, you may be able to use them on top. You'll probably find these will become indispensable. I used them the night after I installed them, after loading up the bed with some plywood sheets, some 8 & 10 ft sticks pipe lengths, without having to run the straps BEFORE loading up.
