This set of three Japanese saws features some of our most popular models, enabling you to tackle a wide range of everyday woodworking applications.

The set includes our best-selling fine-cut saws: a 240mm Hardwood Dozuki and a 150mm Hardwood Dozuki, both equipped with splines. These Dozuki saws boast 25 TPI with a 0.015" thick kerf, making them ideal for precise cuts in dovetails, tenons, and other joinery tasks in both hard and softwoods. They excel at ripping, crosscutting, and cutting angles with equal efficiency. Specifications for these saws are provided below.

Additionally, the set comprises a universal Kataba 300mm saw, capable of both ripping and crosscutting. Kataba saws are perfect for general cutting purposes, featuring a single cutting edge without a back or spline. Their thicker blades, compared to Dozuki back saws, enable them to make deep and long cuts in both hard and softwoods. With teeth designed for both ripping and crosscutting, these saws deliver clean, fast, and deep cuts across and with the grain. Specifications for these saws are also outlined below.

Both the Dozuki and Kataba saws come with replaceable friction-fit blades featuring impulse-hardened teeth for exceptional edge retention.
