Product Description As independent artists this product was manufactured and printed by Disc Makers, Pennsauken, NJ. From the Artist This sound recording was made using all acoustic instruments blending guitars, 12-string guitars, autoharp, harmonica, violin, mandolin, bass, tin whistle and an assortment of percussion devices. The style is mostly folk but gets into blues, early string band, southern mountain nad perhaps a touch of country and gospel. About the Artist Sean Cranley plays mandolin, 12-string guitar, harmonica, tin whistle and percussion. He does lead vocals and backup harmony vocals andwrote 3 of the songs on the album. James Foldy play guitar, 12-string guitar, and acoustic-electric bass. He performs a few lead vocals and some backup harmony vocals. Jerry Foldy plays 5-string banjo and performs on the acoustic-electric bass on most songs. Mike Foldy plays rhythm on several songs. Zach Johnson is featured on the violin on this album but he plays piano, guitar and sings as well. Tom Kennedy performs on the autoharp and adds some harmonica and does lead and harmony vocals. He is interested in the music of the Carter Family and Ernest V. Stoneman and other pioneer recording artists. Dale Nelson was kind enough to play alto saxophone on a blues song on the album. He has a strong musical background and has played for many years in the madison, Wisconsin area. Joannie Williams sings vocal harmony on Gentle Annie. Warren Williams plays guitar and provides strong vocals both on lead and harmony in both bass and tenor parts. See more
