This Pax Veneer Saw is made to slice veneers, enable cuts to be started in the center of a panel of wood and for other inlaying work. It is made by Thomas Flinn of Sheffield, England, the last traditional saw and plane maker in the UK. The saw has 15 TPI and the two different sides of the blade are made so that one side has a crosscut tooth formation and the other side has a rip tooth formation. High carbon steel alloy saw plate is 0.022" thick with no set. The saw has a Walnut handle with a brass ferrule. Reversible blade has a length of 3".
