Description

This plane is a replica of the classic No. 92 Cabinet Maker's Rabbet Plane, originally designed by Stanley Works and produced from 1902 to 1969.

A highly versatile tool, it excels at cleaning up inside corners and refining parts for tight-fitting joinery. The blade extends across the entire width of the sole, allowing you to trim precisely into the corner of a rabbet or tenon's cheek and can remove extremely thin layers—down to just a few thousandths of an inch—creating a perfect fit for strong, long-lasting joints.

The body is precision-machined from ductile cast iron with ground soles and sides. The 0,730" wide cutting iron, made from hardened tool steel (55-60 HRc), is 0.110" thick with a 25° bevel. The blade will need to be sharpened and honed before use. The blade is bedded at 20° and adjusted via a solid brass knurled adjustment screw.

Overall dimensions are .730" wide, 6-1/2" overall length, and 2-1/4" tall, with a weight of 19 oz.

Comes in a presentation box.
