These precision straight edges have numerous uses in the machine or wood shop and are perfect for precision inspection of straightness/flatness, machine set up and precision layout.   

Kinex makes a wide range of straight edges in different accuracies from workshop to inspection grade all adhering to strict German DIN standards. These straight edges are perfect for the professional machinist, tool and die maker, trades person, meticulous woodworker or DIY perfectionist.

These straight edges are made from stress-relieved spring steel and will remain straight under temperature variations. Each straight edge goes through a multi-step manufacturing and inspection process to ensure accuracy and compliance with strict straightness standards. They adhere to Strict German DIN 874-2 straightness tolerances and are guaranteed to be straight within .00086" to .0014" depending on the length. Edges are not beveled or graduated. Overall dimensions ensure they will retain their shape and accuracy, but also make them portable and easy to manage. They will easily stand on their edge and stay put with no external support. All faces have a mill finish and edges are  lapped for straightness and parallelism. Packed in a foam and plastic storage box for protection when not in use. Includes signed inspection certificate.
