This 5 piece professional set of graving or engraving chisels are handmade by Narex of the Czech Republic. Blades are made of Chrome-Vanadium tool steel and heat treated to a hardness of 61-62 HRc. The edges are hand sharpened and lapped with abrasive paste and an Arkansas stone. Handles are stained and waxed European Beech wood. Set included a 4mm (3/16") flat chisel, 3mm (1/8") gouge, 6mm (1/4") gouge, 8mm (3/8") gouge, and 3 mm V tool. Blades are 70mm (2-7/8") long and handles are 82mm (3-3/8") long x 40mm (1-5/8") in diameter. Handle have a flat on the back to prevent rolling off the bench. These chisels are designed to be used with hand pressure only.
